Shirpur Gold Refinery Ltd. was incorporated on 9 November 1984. SGRL has set up a green field precious metal refinery with installed capacity to refine 217 MT p.a. of gold and silver at Shirpur, Dhule District, Maharashtra. The refinery has the technical capability to refine and fabricate gold and silver up to 999.9 fineness.
The company has procured and installed proven refinery technology and equipment. Its technical personnel are trained for operation and day-to-day maintenance of the plant. Refined bullion is cast into bars of various denominations, minted into coins and made into jewellery in a variety of designs.
SGRL is a part of the Essel Group since December 2008. Its products are sold under the Zee Gold brand through an all-India dealer network, with exports to the UAE and Hong Kong. SGRL is a public limited company with shares listed on BSE (512289) and NSE.
